Lines

In general lines is a style of power system that is used in the Mashle universe, where the more lines you have the higher your level of magical potency. Most of the population of the world has one line, some exceptions have two lines, and in extremely rare cases a person has three lines. There are some anomalies as well, where some lines only arise when a specific person arouses an extremely potent feeling, and these lines specifically form a cross on the user's forehead.

Single-Liner: Single-Lines, as previously mentioned, are what the majority of the world's population owns and are considered the most common in society [1]. In other words, there is nothing special about being a Single Liner, you will just be an ordinary person among a vast world, although that does not make it impossible to become stronger than a Double Liner.

Single-Liner

Double-Liner: Double-Liner are considered the top of the magic compared to Single Liner, only one out of every 100,000 magic users possesses this trait. They're considered chosen by magic itself[1]. It was also said that the difference in magical power between the lines is immense, where its impossible for a person born with Single Line to overcome someone born with Double Line, being able to use a higher level of magic than anyone else below the "hierarchy"[2], although a wizard can rise by making the magic power stronger

Triple-Liner: Each Triple-Liner naturally possesses more magical potency than any Double-Liner[3], probably with the same logic between a Single-Liner and a Double-Liner. While the Double-Liner are chosen by the magic itself, the Triple-Liner are chosen by the Gods[3]. The most powerful feature of a Triple-Liner is the fact that they are capable to enjoy the true form of a wand, which grants an immeasurable power, with just the simple pressure of the true form being capable to nullify and destroy magic of the opponent that the wizard had difficulty fighting before[3]. With the true form of a wand the wizard is able to use the strength of a god[3] and even entry-level spells become so powerful that they exceed that of a Secondth[4].

Ira Kreuz: Ira Kreuz can be considered an anomaly among the Lines, since it's outside the conventional system and in the past threatened the fabric of magic society[5]. The Ira Kreuz is not defined by experience and cannot be activated by strength, the wizards that possess these lines are born with it and it's only activated when emotions cross a certain threshold[6]. When activated the magic energy is increased to the point where the simply wizard's aura become capable to cancel and nullify the opponent's magic[6]. The Ira Kreuz also shows to multiply the amount of variety of attacks, where Dot was capable to create 8 explosions normally, but with the Ira Kreuz he was able to create 100 explosions[7]. With the full potential awakened the user is able to change the shape of the wand at will and enjoy an Thirds's power even without possessing an Triple-Line[5].

Magic and spells

Magic is the most basic concept in the Mashle universe and together with the lines is part of the power system. It is a concept that defines your status in the world. If you are born without any kind of magic you will be executed and be hunted like a dog, thanks to the belief that magic is a blessing from God. Each person demonstrates a specific and unique magic, varying from controlling gravity, plants, explosions, sand, sound, and so on. Spells on the other hand are part of the power system, but each spell depends on the experience of the wizard and not the nature of body magic.

General Spells: General spells are defined by the fact that anyone can use, varying with experience. For example, each citizen of society is capable of using telekinesis without difficulty[8] and the most basic students in Easton Magic Academy are able to manipulate sleep as homework[9]. Some high level spells can create creatures with passive magic nullification[10][11], regeneration[12] and with some of these creatures being able to affect the soul[10]. In some extreme cases, a spell is able to seal a person's soul[13] and resist the time manipulation[14][15].

Secondth Spells: Secondth are spells that even the most powerful Double-Lines have difficulty using, only the worthy in the world of magic are allowed to use this power[2]. To become at least worthy of the Secondth Spells you need not training or experience, but aptitude with the concept of magic itself[2] and if a wizard has no aptitude he will need to use at least the magical essence of several people to use the Secondth momentarily[2]. Usually the Secondth are not destructive, but they affect a relatively large area and their attacks ignore durability.

Thirds Spells: Thirds Spell is a magic that unleashes the god's power dwelling within the wand[16] and it's the pinnacle of magical power[17]. Thirds use the true potency inside the wand so if the caster pour enough magic power into it, even if the they should die, the will of wand will cast the spell on its own[16]. The use of Thirds is rare even among the Divine Visionaries and those who manifest it are sure to go down in history[17], they are a demonstration of why the gods are feared by their believers[17]. Their power is beyond anything humans can ever hope to achieve[17].

Divine Visionaries: The Divine Visionaries are the foremost magic users in the world and the force that keeps it running. They handle the majority of tasks dealing with magic. Furthermore, they have another role-working as a state-sanctioned force to protect society from those who would harm it. To symbolize their role as the servants of the divine, they are given titles marking them as the wands of God[18].

Innocent Zero: Innocent Zero is a criminal organization that engages in murder, human trafficking, the smuggling of magical creatures and drugs. It also has the goal of conquering magical objects of great value, such as The Wand Of Beginnings[19]. The main objective of the organization is the creation of a magic body construction, a spell that Dark Magic is used to create an immortal heart from the hearts of six blood relatives, this heart has the purpose of giving the Father eternal life[20].
